This spicy potato fries is favorite for me. During my school and college days whenever my mom packs curd rice for lunch, surely there will be spicy potato fries without any doubt and I loves it. You can serve this as a snack too for evening with tea/ coffee. Just give a try and I hope all will like it!!!!!

Preparation:

  1. Peel the skin of potatoes and cut each potato into 4 or 5 thick slices, then cut those slices like a stripes(exactly like a shape of French fries).

2.

Take a mixing bowl, add potato stripes and all the ingredients except oil in it. Then mix all together by sprinkling some water.

3. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.  Drop potatoes in the oil and fry until crisp and golden brown in colour as shown in 2nd picture below.  Now drain on paper towel and serve spicy potato fries.

4.

I like to have potato fries little more crisp and dark in colour so I extend frying it for another 4 to 5 minutes.  You can skip this step if you don’t like.
